故事的起點，要從2000年“肩上芭蕾”的誕生說起。那時吳正丹和搭檔魏葆華都是廣州戰士雜技團的演員，他們開始嘗試一個史無前例的雜技動作：將芭蕾的“足尖”從地板移到人的肩膀上，同時“輕巧”地抬起腿完成芭蕾舞姿和旋轉。2002年，吳正丹和魏葆華憑借節目《東方的天鵝——芭賓士零件蕾對手頂》，一舉拿下國際雜技最高榮譽“金小丑”獎。
